Who are we?

Marie Allen Ocularist Ltd. was founded in 1986 by Marie Allen Drennan, B.C.O, a second generation ocularist with over 20 years of experience designing and fabricating artificial eyes. Marie is a Board Certified Ocularist with The National Examining Board of Ocularists (NEBO) as well as a Board Approved Diplomatic Ocularist. She has written several published journal articles and has served as Director of the Canadian Society of Ocularists.

In 1990, the company expanded to include the professional expertise of Robert Drennan, Diplomate Ocularist. He enjoys sharing his knowledge through lectures with professional organizations and medical groups including the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB).

Both Marie and Rob are active members of the Canadian Society of Ocularists, the American Society of Ocularist, and the American Anoplastology Asociation.
