Cost Coverage

The cost of the eye prosthesis may or may not be covered by your medical plan. In BC, our Pharmacare program may cover a portion of the artificial eye. This program is entirely based upon income level and you must be registered with the plan. You can register through their website at http://www.gov.bc.ca or by calling 1-800-387-4977.

Most extended health plans reimburse a substantial portion of the expense of an artificial eye. Other third party agencies, such as WCB, DVA, ICBC and Fist Canadian Health, also have programs which may be specific to your situation.

For our American clients, please contact us for an estimate. Canadian made artificial eyes are substantially less expensive.
